HE IS RISEN!
We had a wonderful worship service with all the great old Easter hymns that people can really sing. (No bippety boppety boo or drums for this church.) Then we met Barb and Doris for a buffet at a local hotel. It was a small crowd this year because Richard is still in Georgia, and David and Catherine had their spring break a couple of weeks ago. But we had a good time. It happens that today is also Doris’ birthday so we went back to her house for cake and fruit with Dee and Bob and their driver Jean. Good conversation, good company, and good food.
He is risen indeed!

I seriously want you to beware of what you eat on the buffet. I seriously believe that healthy organic food is the key to happiness and longevity and healthy eating mixed with exercise can actually make you “high”. In fact I know it can. At least temporarily, but we have to eat anyhow so what do we have to lose???
Easter at this place in PA was a small one, too. Grandsons went to their wife/girlfriend’s family. So it was Linda, Steve and I eating ham. Yummm! We had low cal (not) cheese cake for dessert. All in all, a great Easter. And I saw a bluebird today, right outside my kitchen window, no foolin’. Christ is truly risen and we are saved.
