All the bills for my eye surgery seem to be in. The total cost was $5,435. When all the deductions and insurance payments and other sleight-of-hand maneuvers had been made, it cost us $284.67. No wonder it's not hard to scare the wits out of old people by using the words "__________ (fill in the blank) wants to destroy Medicare." It's great in the short term, but the country can't afford it forever. I have no answers or solutions. Are there any?

Christ coming back ought to do it.
@TheClingingVine2 - Yes, that would solve more than one problem, wouldn't it?
